Grand Teton National Park offers unparalleled opportunities for photographing wildlife and landscapes year-round and spring offers lush green meadows teaming with wildlife.  Photograph sweeping vistas and rushing streams accented by one of the most spectacular mountain ranges in the world.  Discover unique locations within the park and surrounding areas as we seek opportunities for photographing breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife such as moose, elk, bison, mule deer, bear, wolves, coyotes, waterfowl, birds of prey and more.  This spring workshop is a combination of both outdoor photography instruction as well as mid-day indoor sessions to help take your photography and creativity to a whole new level.

  • Two full days of personalized, one-on-one instruction.
  • Written workshop material featuring detailed description of equipment for the workshop, technical hints and tips and travel info.
  • Informal critique and discussion of your work throughout the workshop.
  • Indoor sessions on a number of possible topics including Aperture, Lightroom and Photoshop.
  • Hot coffee, cold drinks and snacks provided during all in-field sessions.
  • Free 8x11 print on metallic paper of your favorite image from the workshop.

Limited to: Just 8 participants

Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced.  A good photographer is always learning and our photography workshops are designed in helping you to achieve your specific photography goals.

Note: The above schedule may change depending on weather conditions but be prepared for photographing in all conditions as bad weather makes for great photography.

Lodging: Lodging is not included in the price of the workshop and you are free to select the lodging option and location that best suits your needs.

Meeting Location:  Our meeting location at the start of each day will be Cowboy Coffee in the town of Jackson to warm up for the day ahead.

Transportation: Transportation to and from the workshop is not included in the price of the workshop.  It is recommended that participates coming from out of state may choose from one of the many car rental options available in-town or at the Jackson Hole airport (JAC).  During the workshop we will carpool as much as possible to maximize our mobility within the park.

Meals: One lunch and one dinner are included in the workshop; participants will be responsible for all other meals not included as a part of the workshop.  A dining guide will be provided after sign-up, however Drew will be able to provide several recommendations for breakfast, lunch and dinner options in the town of Jackson.
