Imagine being out under the stars at 3am with the Milky Way overhead and the dancing glow of northern lights over Grand Teton in the distance, as temperatures drop to a cool thirty-five degrees. You are in complete solitude and awe as the sound of howling wolves and faint echoes of bugling elk can be heard in the valley below. This was my experience while capturing Aurora Over Grand Teton and it is moments like these which define my passion for nature photography. Few people ever have the opportunity to experience such amazement and wonder and I am grateful to be able to share these unique moments with the world.
