About Drew M Wright

I have always enjoyed the artistic vision and beauty that nature and landscape photography provides whether in the urban or alpine wilderness. Raised in the quiet solitude and magnificence of the outdoors, my goal is to capture the beauty and tranquility the world has to offer and that some rarely get to experience. Spanning many regions throughout the western U.S., I hope to capture images in nature which invoke a positive emotional response for you the viewer. I am inspired by the works of professional photographers Art Wolfe ("Travels to The Edge with Art Wolfe"), Thomas D. Mangelsen (Images of Nature) and Alain Briot to name a few.
Image Manipulation

None of the photographs found on this site have been digitally altered or modified to the point that the image is no longer a true representation of the scene at the moment
of capture. With all of the technology available to photographers, there are still several limitations in photography equipment
which may or may not render a particular scene with the correct tone and color experienced at the moment of recording the image.
Due to these limitations, there may be slight adjustments to color and tone, but with the strict intent of creating
an image that was as true to life as possible.
